Philadelphia PHP - Partial Hospitalization Program
Partial Hospitalization is typically the first part of treatment following detoxification. Patients are usually provided with 25-35 hours of clinical care weekly. PHP is a step down from inpatient treatment, and therefore individuals can live at home or more beneficially at a nearby sober living residence. The Partial Hospitalization part of treatment, where patients are not institutionalized 24/7 has proven to be very beneficial in transitioning from rehabilitation back to the outside world. Individualized treatment plans are instilled with the help of a primary therapist who meets one on one with the client twice weekly.
